First Night of Ghostly and Urban Legends: Kentucky

Every October since last year, I have decided to do something for Halloween. Last year was creatures. This year, I am going to do 31 days of ghost stories and urban legends and more. But tonight, I didn't had time to plan ahead so I will let you all choose from now on, starting today. I will randomly find a country or state or even a city. And from that information, I will choose four to let you choose. The stories will be completely random or have more than one... I won't list too much but I will list websites where you can go read them yourselves. Tonight... I will set the theme for Kentucky since it's likely a good place to start. It's my home state and yet... a frightful place. I will choose out of many stories... one that is interesting to me. However, I will not be able to let you all choose the stories but you can choose the location. Are you ready?

Kentucky has many stories and histories. A state that was founded by Daniel Boone, named from Native Americans... Stories were likely to raise concerns as Kentucky became civilized... Years of years stories... Not any normal stories... Horror stories. Ghost stories... Urban legends.

Here are some of the ones that I did found:

Hillbilly Beast: http://porterbriggs.com/the-hillbilly-beast/

Kentucky's Sleepy Hollow: http://www.gothichorrorstories.com/behind-urban-legends/urban-legends-mysteries-as-dark-as-the-night-from-a-sleepy-hollow-road-in-kentucky/

The Famous Waverly Hills Sanatorium: https://www.therealwaverlyhills.com/

Bobby Mackey's Haunted Music World: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Mackey%27s_Music_World

There are many more but the creepiest of all is Pilot Knob Cemetery: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/KENTUCKY-LEGENDS/2012-06/1340110709

So these are the few stories, urban legends... there are many more like I said... but I did find the one about Pilot Knob a bit creepy xD

Now... until then... Another list of haunting stories and urban legends by location tomorrow.

That's all.
